NAR Smart Growth-Planning & Zoning: Advocating for Your Community’s Future-6HR TN CE-Zoom

October 15, 2024 @ 9:30 am - 4:00 pm

Planning and zoning serve as the basis for all communities—past, present, and future. This Zoom course will teach you the basic components and processes of the planning and zoning phases of real estate development, and how these phases must lead us to a better way of developing communities through the application of smart growth principles. You will acquire practical skills and strategies that can strengthen your business by actively contributing to the creation of environmentally sustainable, equitable, and financially resilient communities.

By acquiring a greater understanding of the visioning, planning, and zoning process, you can empower yourself as a community advocate to effect positive changes and as a real estate professional to gain a competitive advantage. You will learn to promote development that is both sustainable and beneficial for the community by advocating for smart growth principles. You will see the future of your community, and your business, in a whole new way!
