In this class you will learn the history of the cooperation agreement and how the Code of Ethics helped to shape what it is today. You will learn how first impressions to other agents can win or lose them a deal. You will also be able to implement positive language in these first encounters because it is not all about what you say, many times it is how you say it. We will go over creating “win-win” situations as it is the key to Cooperation and so much more during this 1 HR interactive class!

Instructor: Rodney Tate and Fara Captain

Rodney Tate Jr is a US Navy Veteran and an Affiliate Broker with Assured Real Estate Services. Equipped with a service 1st mentality he has served as the chairman for the Young Realtist Division of NAREB Memphis Realtist, MAAR Education Foundation Trustee, Chairman of MAAR’s Fair and Affordable Housing Committee, and the Director of Housing with Operation Taking Back 901. Rodney currently serves as a Director for MAAR, Tennessee Realtors, and United Housing.   As a professionally licensed real estate educator in Tennessee, Rodney provides educational services to entrepreneurs with topics like business startups, business tech tools, and even an Intro to Entrepreneurship class for high school students.

Fara Captain is a dynamic changemaker who believes in building an inclusive environment in both the real estate industry and in the City of Memphis Fara is a Multi-Million Dollar Club Life member and currently ranks in the top 4% in the Memphis Area. Fara Captain was recently honored as the 2020 Executive of the Year by the Memphis  Captain recently completed her certification in Diversity and Inclusion at eCornell University.  She hopes to continue to inspire and educate her peers and her city through inclusive practices.

Captain’s drive and determination to fill a much-needed gap in the Memphis real estate community was a result of personal perseverance combined with a huge thirst for knowledge. Fara already holds the following real estate-related certifications and designations: CRS, ABR®, SRS, GRI, At home with Diversity, PSA & SRES and is an avid Ninja. She is currently working on growing the next generation of real estate leaders through her firm Captain & Co. Real Estate LLC.
