The Tri-Cities and Gatlinburg Area housing markets were the only East Tennessee housing markets posting a year-over-year median price increase last month. Gatlinburg had the largest regional increase.

NETAR, Knoxville, and Gatlinburg were the only regional markets showing sales increases as markets closed in on the holiday season.
According to the National Association of Realtors (NAR), last month’s median sales price was $415,200, up 2.1% from last year, and sales were up 1.2%.
Realtor.com is reporting the U.S. median price as $422,950, up 1.2% from last year, and a year-over-year sales increase of 1.7%.
Zillow’s research listed the median home sales price as $415,200, up 2.1% from last year, and a 1.7% year-over-year sales increase.
